Exposed aggregate
The top layer of cement is washed off after the pour to reveal the stones in the mix. Hard-wearing, grippy and good at hiding tyre marks and dirt.
Best for — Driveways, high-traffic areas
Care tip — Hose it down and reseal every few years to keep the colour of the stones rich.

Stamped
Coloured concrete pressed with textured mats while it's still wet, so it takes on the look of stone, slate or sandstone.
Best for — Patios, steps, entries
Care tip — Sweep regularly and reseal when water stops beading on the surface.

Timber-look stamped
Stamped concrete with a boarded timber grain. You get the look of decking without boards to rot, splinter or oil.
Best for — Pool surrounds, paths
Care tip — Rinse off chlorine and leaves, and reseal to keep it comfortable underfoot.

Patterned
A decorative pattern and colour set into the surface to give a driveway or entry a feature look.
Best for — Feature driveways
Care tip — Clean oil spills early and reseal on a regular cycle to protect the colour.

Plain & broom
Plain concrete finished smooth with a steel trowel or brushed with a broom for extra grip.
Best for — Slabs, sheds, utility areas
Care tip — Low fuss. A wash now and then and a seal if you want it to resist stains.

Covercrete
A thin decorative coating applied over sound existing concrete to give it a fresh colour and texture without pouring new.
Best for — Tired driveways, patios and paths
Care tip — Avoid harsh chemicals and recoat the sealer when the surface starts to dull.

Pattern cove
A decorative edge or border detail that frames a slab, driveway or path for a finished look.
Best for — Edges, borders, entry features
Care tip — Treat it the same as the main surface: sweep, wash and reseal together.
